When it comes to alarm clocks, their job is to get you out of bed. Here are 10 alarm clocks that get you out of bed in a very annoying fashion.
10. Sfera alarm clock
The Sfera alarm clock hangs from the ceiling above your bed. When the alarm goes off, you can reach up and touch it to activate the snooze function causing it retract towards the ceiling. When snooze goes off again, you have to reach higher to activate the snooze again. Dutch designer Will Vanden Vos takes an old style and gives it a new look. In much the same way of older clocks and information boards (like the ones you used to find in airports, and still see in many train stations), the Bomba Alarm Clock displays time by dropping the top half of the card down, exposing the number behind. But what’s most eye- catching is the exposed machinery.

Fumbling around for the alarm clock in the morning is second place only to getting elbowed in the ribs because we can’t find the alarm clock when it comes to things we don’t look forward to when we wake up. That’s why this alarm clock mat design by Sofie Collin & Gustav Lanberg is so great.
