The list of games included in the Amazing Indie Games sale is quite impressive, and prices start from as little as $0.99 if you’re in the US or €0.99 if you are in the European Union (EU). Windows-Is-No-Longer-the-Most-Vulnerable-Operating-System-in-the-World

Windows is often referred to as the most insecure operating system in the world, pretty much because it’s targeted by the majority of malware infections out there, but as far as security vulnerabilities are concerned, Microsoft’s platform is no longer number one.

Statistics provided by GFI show that Windows security is getting stronger, so the leading place in the chart called “Top operating systems by vulnerabilities reported in 2014” goes to Apple’s Mac OS X. A total of 147 vulnerabilities were found on OS X, 64 of which were rated as “high.” Read the rest of this entry »

Apple has been making a number of announcements recently, signaling their push into new markets and industries. Not only has Apple recently announced that they will be branching off into building self-driving cars, but they will also now be making luxury watches. The plan for the luxury watches is so elaborate that it will require the company to purchase 1/3rd of the world’s gold on a yearly basis.

According to calculations done by Apple blogger Josh Centers, the company will need to purchase 746 metric tons of gold each year to meet the demand for their new watches. Considering that roughly 2,500 metric tons of gold are mined per year throughout the entire planet, this would mean that Apple would be buying nearly 1/3rd of the world’s gold. Amazon always goes big for Black Friday, and this year is no different. In fact, the shopping giant is going so big that it’s starting its Black Friday sales tomorrow, a full week before Black Friday actually arrives. The sales will run for eight days straight, with new deals coming as often as every ten minutes. Amazon says it will run three of its Deals of the Day on both Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

In addtion to the Black Friday blowout, Amazon will be running a full week of Cyber Monday deals starting on December 1st. As expected, many of the deals include blowout prices on TVs (including a 4K Samsung for $899), laptops, smartphones, fitness trackers, and more. Walmart has already announced its Black Friday deals, but now it’s following them up with more blowouts for Cyber Monday. As expected, the best deals can be found on TVs, though Walmart says it has over 500 deals for the week starting on Saturday, November 29th — more than twice as many as last year.
