The eSlick Makes eReaders a Little More Affordable

One of the technologies that is up and coming in the digital age is the eReader. Like any archaic activity, reading is becoming more of a technological practice with the advent of electronic paper and readers.
Standard eReader units, which are lightweight and compact, allow you to read a text without turning any pages and also give you the ability to increase text size. The only downside, however, is that they are generally pretty expensive, starting in upwards of $300 or $400.
The eSlick, however, is a little different than the standard eReader unit. Starting at $230, the reader is a 6.4 ounce 7 inch ebook that comes in 600×800 resolution.
It offers all of the standard features of an eReader including an on-board MP3 player and a 2GB SD card slot. It lacks some of the higher end features of the Amazon Kindle and others, but it’s lower price may spur some popularity and create an incentive for other companies to make their units more financially accessible.
