Russian artists from Moscow presented in London the totally useless but somehow cool device – goggles that you can put on and feel yourself like a robot from a Terminator movie or like somebody else from “the cyberspace”.

Samsung is following up the love-it or hate-it Chocolate, and the Shine, with its third “Black Label” device: the as-yet unnamed cellphone you can see here.
It looks a more serious and slender beast than the first two, and sports a five megapixel camera, tempered glass and a carbon-fiber finish. Read the rest of this entry »

2008 is shaping up to be the year of the 5-megapixel camera phone. And we couldn’t be more excited.
Let’s face it, the crummy, submegapixel imaging chips crammed into most phones today take awful-looking photos.
The iPhone’s 2-megapixel camera is an improvement, but even its photos look crummy next to a standard-issue digital camera from five years ago. Read the rest of this entry »
According to Paul, he bought his girlfriend an 8GB iPhone because she wanted one. He then found out she was cheating on him with a guy from church and now he is selling her iPhone.
If the advertisement up on Craig’s list is true to fact, our man is quite at a loss. In my books any boyfriend willing to buy their other half an 8GB iPhone, no less, needs some sort of ‘Best Boyfriend In The World’ award.
What he does not need is to be cheated on at any point and salt in the wound; losing his once beloved to a guy from church!
Man, I hope God was existing and watching the whole affair; a fellow from his own abode causing such heartache is out of order and the pair should have to pay. We think he just might have to, too.
That demanding ho of a girlfriend of his is going to want a new iPhone before she succumbs to spiritual perdition.
(He could possibly negotiate a price with Paul). Fortunately for the sinning pair, reception is good in hell, as that is where AT&T is based.
Now ladies, hit the link, call Paul and secure a date; if he bought his last girlfriend an 8GB iPhone, imagine what he will get you on the rebound!

Battery life of MP3 players has been greatly increased the last years, with companies such as Cowon and Sony leading the way with up to 60 hours of music playback. The record is now broken, as Panasonic intros an MP3 player with a whopping 100 hours of music playback.
The internal battery will take about 3 hours to charge, which is substantially less than one would think for such a long battery life.
The player don’t have any internal memory, and relies solely on SD(HC) cards, with 2GB bundled with the player. SDHC supports means you can use 16GB cards now and 32GB in a few months, and with 16GB cards selling for as low as $60 it’s not necessarily a bad choice. Read the rest of this entry »

The subscription-based iTunes rumor has been around for what feels like eons, and apparently, it’s rearing its always intriguing head once more.
According to a report over at Financial Times, the suits in Cupertino are currently “in discussions” with major music outfits about a new model that could essentially “give customers free access to the entire iTunes music library in exchange for paying a premium for its iPod and iPhone devices.”
Reportedly, a distribution model similar to Nokia’s “Comes with Music” could be used on both iPhones and iPods, while traditional subscriptions would be reserved for the iPhone — a device which has a monthly billing relationship already attached to it. Read the rest of this entry »

Make no mistake, there are quite a few firms out there with solutions for concealing that wall-hung flat-panel, but we see no harm in one more alternative joining the mix.
The Zen-inspired Kabe from TV2ART aims to blend one’s HDTV into its surroundings by floating just a few inches away from the wall and possessing a slidable painting that can cover up the set when needed or slide out of the way when gameday comes.
As expected, the unit is offered in a myriad styles, and interested consumers can even have one crafted from wood, aluminum, copper or just about any other material known to man. Read the rest of this entry »
