Unconfirmed reports Meizu booth shutdown because of Sisvel

It seemed weird that Meizu would be shutdown because of cloning the iPhone. And now reports are that the real reason the Meizu booth was shutdown is because of an issue with Sisvel over the MP3 codec license. This isn’t the first time that Sisvel went against Meizu. Sisvel blocked Meizu from selling the original Meizu M6 outside of China because of it. Meizu eventually found Dane-Elec who took responsibility over any licensing fees.

Sandisk also has had a run in with Sisvel, having their booth shutdown at IFA.
